Where do you hold your private sessions?
Tailored private tutoring sessions take place via either Zoom or Skype, depending on the students preference.
Do you have any teaching qualifications?
Yes. I am a fully qualified teacher and Head of Department. You can read more about my credentials in the CV section.
How much do you charge per session?
Tailored private tutoring sessions cost £45 per lesson, and Exam Technique and Essay Writing Tuition cost £60 per lesson. Every lesson takes place in one hour. You can read more about what each service consists of in the Services section.
How can I book with you
The best place to start is at the Contact section. Here, you can add certain details that will be required for me to understand the students needs. If you are a recurring student, then you can simply head over to the Book Online section to choose your time slot.

Registration
Clients must offer accurate contact details for effective communication. I primarily use WhatsApp and email for tuition-related communication, ensuring your information's security. Please update me on any contact changes during the academic year.
Payment/Invoices
Payment for lessons can be made via bank transfer or PayPal. If you opt for PayPal, a 3.5% transaction fee applies to cover the charges imposed by PayPal for fund reception.

Lessons are paid for either in advance, immediately after each lesson or on a weekly billing cycle by bank transfer (details provided).

Invoices should be paid in full by bank transfer in advance or right after receipt of the invoice. The account details, for bank transfer purposes, are provided on the invoice. PayPal invoices will incur a 3.5% fee.
Behaviour & Timekeeping
By default, individual lessons are scheduled for one hour each, unless agreed upon differently. It's the clients' responsibility to ensure punctuality for the lessons. Sessions will conclude as scheduled, allowing ample time for the subsequent student's lesson. If you'd like to discuss your child's progress in depth, please utilise the initial or final moments of their lesson, or you're welcome to arrange a separate call at your convenience.

It's the parents' duty to ensure their children exhibit appropriate behaviour. I retain the right to cancel bookings for students with unacceptable conduct. In such cases, any remaining sessions will be refunded.
Cancellation Policy
Rescheduling or cancelling a lesson requires a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled time. Lessons missed within this 24-hour window will incur the full hourly charge. In the unlikely event of a lesson cancellation by myself, and if you've already made the payment, the lesson will be rescheduled, or a refund can be provided.
Progression Feedback
Regular feedback is part of the process. Feel free to hop on the video call at the session's beginning or end for verbal feedback. I also maintain ongoing communication through WhatsApp or email to keep you informed. If you'd like to delve deeper into your child's progress, you're welcome to schedule a complimentary call for a later date.
Special Requests
I maintain the authority to apply charges for specific requests. These might encompass, yet aren't confined to, tasks like comprehensive written progress reports, providing references, task assignments (not associated with lesson bookings), certifying true copies (e.g., passports), and handling form/paperwork submissions.
